How does the trial work?
Sign up, create one project, use it free for 14 days. We send reminder emails at day 11 and day 13. Add a card to keep it running, do nothing and the project pauses automatically. Your data and snapshots stay retained either way.
How does billing work?
$10/mo per running project, billed monthly and prorated hourly. The bill goes up when you add a project and down when you delete one. We do not auto-upgrade projects or add surprise usage overage lines on the Standard plan. Card lives at the workspace, not the user — invite teammates without re-doing payment.
What if I need more memory or higher throughput?
Email us. A larger tier is on the roadmap. Until then, capacity changes are manual so you know what will change before the bill changes.
Why no forever-free tier?
We are bootstrapped. A real 14-day trial fits us better than a free tier we would have to subsidize forever, and probably fits you better too, because it keeps the lights on and the product honest. Lux itself stays open source if you ever want to self-host.
